On January 7, 2014 a ripple was sent across the world…

An astounding 226 people hosted Live Your Legend LOCAL events in 150 cities in 48 countries across the world. We believe it’s the first time in history that a gathering of this kind and this scale has ever happened.

We have a simple goal: Bring inspiring, like-minded people together in the real world to support each other in doing work that makes us come alive and change the world.

And the most beautiful part? January 7th was just Day One. Gatherings have been hosted in many of these cities every month since then. The Revolution was just getting started…While Local is free for everyone, it’s the most valuable tool we offer at Live Your Legend!

On September 12th, 2015 another ripple was sent across the world…

That day Mount Kilimanjaro cut short the life of our fearless founder, Scott Luckey Dinsmore. But Scott’s vision is as vibrant as ever. He dreamed of a network of Living Legends spread around the globe. No matter where you were in the world, you’d be within 20 miles of an inspiring group of people supporting each other. All pursuing our paths toward doing work that matters and making our unique impact on the world. Think of it as AA (alcoholics anonymous) for world-changers. A global tribe with shared beliefs, distributed around the world. Feeling stuck or uninspired? Pop into a Live Your Legend Local meeting and get re-energized!

The Revolution has massive momentum. Many have joined, and more people like you are joining everyday. There is no better way to genuinely and naturally connect with passionate and inspiring people than to be the one who brings them together! As a Live Your Legend Local Host, you instantly become an integral part of the Revolution!

And the best part is that it’s super simple and free. All we ask is you invest a little time and energy into helping people. We’ve put together a set of tools and guidelines that will grease the skids and make it a fun and fulfilling experience. And we’re just getting started with the support we’ll be providing.

We’ve found that groups of 5 are the sweet spot for interaction, but we encourage you to adapt the meeting to whatever size you like – all it takes is two of you to make a meetup. Experiment like crazy; this is your world. We have a few simple rules to follow to keep in line with what Live Your Legend stands for. But otherwise we just want to inspire you to do your part to welcome and bring together like-minded people who believe in making a difference. It’s a simple, but incredibly powerful model. We will achieve Scott’s vision, and you can help us get there.

Local Hosts are expected to:

Step up to be a Live Your Legend Local leader in your area.
Organize, promote, find venues, and facilitate Local meetings.
Lead the meeting’s discussion (we provide monthly agendas and monthly host mentoring calls, but want you to go wherever the conversations take you).
Be responsive to your group’s needs in your unique way.
Facilitate the audacious Live Your Legend Challenges that we’ll be rolling out to build group cohesion and supercharge the movement.
Uphold the Live Your Legend Local Meeting Core Values by making sure everyone feels welcome and accepted, and creating a safe place for discussion, interaction and friendship to unfold.
