Massively Misunderstanding Risk…

We just got to the tiny beach town of Barra de Navidad, Mexico, and today I wanted to share a few quick but important thoughts about risk. Most the world seems to get risk totally wrong, which makes it nearly impossible to pursue just about any meaningful goal or dream, especially doing work you love.

So below is a short video I filmed on the one risk that I believe is much worse than failure.

In fact, it’s something I’ve learned from years of studying (and attempting to model) some people who have built their lives upon properly understanding and taking the right risks. I’ve noticed that among many others, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett and Richard Branson constantly refer to this same belief, often without ever mentioning it directly.
